    New Fish

Agreed, as it is that blue tang will get to large for your tank, i think it is recommended that they be in a 125g tank or atleast a 6ft tank.

    Question

What is your ph at? How long has your tank been running? If your tank has just recently been set up you should just let it sort itself out rather then adding more chemicals to the mix which you will then have to continue to test for.

    New 55 gal.

A biotope like Roka suggested would be cool or maybe a species tank. A snowflake eel would be pretty cool or something like a peacock mantis

Is this sufficient for a 15T?

am toying with the option of using an led panel to light my nano tank. I like the idea of not having to change out my bulbs each year, or even more then that, and also my hood gets quite hot for the bulbs that are currently in there. It is only a small tank with a footprint of 12"x12" so I wont...

Too Much Food or Just Right???????

IMO that seems like an awful lot of food to be feeding just two fish. Do you feed every evening? I believe you are only supposed to feed what the fish can eat in 3-5 minutes. You would probably be fine feeding only 1 cube and the seaweed daily.

    Lighting questions...

LPS stands for large polyp stoney, and SPS stands for small polyp stoney. they are just different classifaications of colors. Sps corals tend to require MH lighting where as Lps tend to be able to kept under lower light such as ccCapt said. As for compatbility i believe all the fish you...

    Water changes help

Its not that they dont want to help you learn its that they dont want you to learn at the expense of your tanks inhabitants. You can sucessfully have a 10gal SW tank but you must look into what inhabitants you want. Judging by the your oictures it looks like it is a damsel which is better then...

    starting my tank

I would suggesting trying to find somewheres where you can purchase ro water. I started off using tap water and now i am kicking myself. You will have such a rough time trying to control algea. It is worht the extra little money to purchase a unit ( cheap on ebay) or finding somewhere to...

    help with sand

Hair algea feeds off the nutrients ( i think mostly phosphates) in your water. It want go away by pulling it out. Do you use ro water? or just tap? Also are you running a phosphate reactor? the phosphate reactor is cheap and will remove the phosphate from your water thus starving the hair algea...
