Thanks both. I took the end piece off and used just the hose and did that holding it about 1/2 an inch away, did the trick. The plants have grown to the top of the water i'm just going to trim them down i think. Rivercats you have a real nice aquarium there. Love the Angel fish. Thanks again.

Thanks, the congos and rainbow fish make it a bit livelier, they have a bit to grow yet they're about 2/3 fully grown. I don't have a QT unfortunately. So I will do the daily water change, how much would you recommend changing. Just looking now and he already seems a lot better, he hasn't...

Hi all, can someone help please one of my bosemani rainbow fish has developed an infection on its side, I want to know what to treat it with. It's a red sore looking thing that looks like its growing under, and pushing the scales out. Thanks in advance for any help. Pic below.
