My porcupine puffer has not eaten for almost a week now, and before that it was a pig, it would eat krill like crazy, but now I haven't a clue what the problem could be. Someone once told me that if their teeth grow to big then they will not be able to eat. Has anyone else ever heard of that?

The salinity was a bit high...so I changed/added some of water last night...everything else was fine. I will see what happens today.

It's been five days now since he ate. I have tried different foods, but he won't take anything. I will try the garlic method but I got a feeling that is not gonna work. Does anyone else have any other suggestions?

I just saw some white milkey substance being released into the water. I was sitting across the room from the acquarium and all of the sudden this white cloud appeared, then the current displaced it. It was right above the candy cane coral. Can some one explain what I just saw?

chrome yes, I did think about the chrome color chipping off into the tank, or having the salt eat away at it....but it would be a good reflector... I am going to look at what is available, not sure what I am going to do yet, but I like this idea alot.

This has happened to me too! It grew back the next time it molted.

The fish store must have it labled wrong...I can't think of what it may be. I will have to do some research on it. Thanks for your help.

Humm, there is one at the fish store in the salt water tanks, and they have it labeled a fiddler crab. It is about 1" or so and it is sort of an orange color. If it is not a fiddler crab, then could it be?

I would love to leave the tops off, however, I am sure one day I would find the light fixture in the tank...because the cat thinks it is fun to sit on the light....of course she gets in trouble everytime I catch her on the light but that does not stop her. Does anyone else have any...
