Here's what I have so far. It's a mixture of live and artificial plants, the fish are due in the mail tomorrow After talking to customer service at the website I got them from, I ended up with 2 speckled madtoms, 2 black banded sunfish, and 2 blue spotted sunfish. I Will post more pictures...

    55 gallon native tank

I caught the catfish in a small pool near a river when it was about 2 centimeters long. I got the crappie from a pond stocking company along with two others, one of which didn't make the three hour drive home, the other died about two days later.

I would like to keep this tank simple so I think I'll get banded sunfish instead of the blue spotted, I also like their coloration a little better, and think it will mix better with the black banded.

Yes those are the black banded, the video description says that there is one blue spotted but I think it's a juvenile bluegill,

Any idea what kind of worms are used in this video they really seem to like them. What would be involved in keeping daphnia, never kept a planktivore.

Good point, I do plan on upgrading my 55 gallon to a 100 gallon in the near future so I shouldn't have to do that anymore anyway.

Oh wow, I was under the impression that as long as you released the fish into the water you got it from it was fine.

That's where I plan on getting the tadpole madtoms from but I'll have to order the other fish from here Jonah's Aquarium... Need Fish?. Do you think they would eat freeze dried blood worms, I've had success with that in the past when feeding young brim and bass.

I plan on purchasing the two small species from this place Jonah's Aquarium... Need Fish? But if I want any of the larger species I usually just catch them.

Normally yes they would but these two species have a maximum size of about 2-3 inches. I use my 55 gallon for the larger species and release them when they get too big.
