Just an aside - I successfully kept a bluehead in a 30 gal long for about 2 years. Didn't know at the time they needed a lot of room.

Thanks for the info. I plan on FO right now. Corals are beautiful and I'd love a nanoreef but I think it best to ease back into SW with a couple of "easycare" fish. That's a protein skimmer, yes? (I've been out of SW for longer than I thought. :rolleyes: )

Hi all, Had a couple SW tanks several years ago and a freshwater tank about 2 years ago. I'm considering starting up a small SWFO tank again - Caribbean / Atlantic. Maybe a bluehead and a couple of fairy basslets or similar. Never had any luck with inverts aside from a few feather dusters...
