Hey everyone i currently have a 90 gallon setup and im rehoming my cichlids because i really wanna switch to saltwater is it possible and what do i need to look into as im new to this for filtration it has the 175 api external canister

Ok I will do it and if this issue is because of the tap water what can I do to not have this issue again

Update I did a 50 percent water changed and retested water and pH is sitting get at 7.4 is that good for my babies

Sorry I currently have parrot, severum, Jack Dempsey and pleco they have been in the tank for about 4 years but recently after I did my testing with the kit I have just the pH was up to much so someone at big als told me to buy this product so help the pH sit at 8.2 but my friend told me not to...

Thanks was very hard because I have been close to these guys for years and they eat from my hand and I'm allowed to pet them sucked

Hey everyone so I have my 90 gallon setup for few years now and past while my pH has been sitting at about 8.8 to 9.2 and everything else is perfectly in spec for my South America cichlids I believe it's from my tap water what should my pH be sitting at for them and what can I do to lower this...

Update.. I had to make a decision to pull my fish out and end his suffering was very hard for me to make that decision because I have been close to these guys for years, anyways the medication didn't help and his gouge in his head got worse and both his eyes went popeye I don't think he was able...

Ok thanks guys will look into this further and give this medication a try thanks for fast replies appreciate it

Everyone else seems perfect and I do water change every week and use stability ammonia remover and salt I'll try to get couple for you
