I currently have some endler's livebearers in my 5 gallon. It's temporary, but I could definitely see a few males being comfortable in a five gallon if there are a lot of plants. They're really active little fish.

I had one in my dirted ten gallon. It had a HUGE root system, and grew to be one of the largest plants. It was under a florescent light though.

After a series of small water changes, the endlers have stopped shimmying. I think that the cause was water quality .

I think they might be scuds. Look up a picture and see if it matches. They tend to stick to the plants in my tank. I'm pretty sure they're harmless, and I know people sometimes use them as fish food. Sent from my SGH-T769 using Aquarium Advice mobile app
