Stocking list for my upgrade, looking for advice for on stocking...

I thought about that but figured there would be enough space to share. The chromis are definetly the lower priority.

Stocking list for my upgrade, looking for advice for on stocking...

I am going from my current 36" 65G reef which has been up for a year to a half to a 96" 240G reef. You guys warned me I would outgrow the 65G but I wouldn't listen, 65 is a lot of gallons right? RIGHT? Anyway, I have decided that I want this tank to have lots of anthias which I have not...

    help with potter's angel.

How long has your tank been up and running? It is always good advice to quarrantine everything as I am sure you know, and that would be my adive here, however at the same time I know of a lot of Potter's angel keepers who made the decision to put the fish straight into the display because of...

Blue Tang vs Blue Hippo Tang

I have a kole and a PBT in a 65 for over a year now and they are both happy and healthy as could be. The PBT doesn't bother anyone unless they are a new addition. In any case it isn't the tangs I worry about in my tank, it is a red spot damsel who is not larger than both tangs and is very...

    Sunburst/Fathead Anthias

I think I might actually prefer that, it would allow me to have another column swimmer group.

    Sunburst/Fathead Anthias

So, I was in the my LFS last week and saw one of these beautiful fish. I always liked the colors of anthias but they always seemed to slender and delicate looking for my tastes. This one has colors that are just as vibrant but with its sea bass type shape is far more to my liking. In any...

Acclamation from a reef tank into a hyposalinity enviroment...

Well, it looks like it is a moot point. I just build every configuration of fish trap possible over the course of the day and didn't catch a **** thing. I don't have the time, money, or resources to break down the reef so it looks like these guys will just be living with ick.

Acclamation from a reef tank into a hyposalinity enviroment...

So, I am about to start my ich treatment and thus have been reading up how its done. I have two hospital tanks set up, a 15 gallon for my tang and one or two small friends and a 10 galon for everyone else. Whole reading it was stated that I should try to introduce infected fish rapidly into...

    travel

Corals have to deal with long periods of low light in nature as well, a hurricane can block out most of the sun for days at a time. One or two won't hurt, just don't leave your lights on or you might get bleaching. My tank can go a week without topoff.

    55G Stocking Options

My cherub is reef safe, but there is always a small risk with any angel. I chose the Cherub because it stays small, 2-3 inches, while flame angels can reach 4-5.
