Completely spotless Sunday after taking whole tank apart. Now the diatoms are back in less than a week

So I have a 29 gallon, cycled tank that I'm about to stock. It will have 6 giant danios in it and I'm trying to get some other tank mate ideas. Tetras, some kind of bottom feeders? Looking for suggestions....Thanks

Venustus and livingstoni are different breeds. And with that quantity, long term, I say the 76 will eventually be to small

The males will eventually get blue on their heads, or turn all blue, females will stay the same as when both male and female are juvenile

Venustus get 8-10". And will eventually require a 75 gallon +. They also prefer a 36"-48" swimming length. Awesome fish, looking to get some when I get a larger tank. But if that's not in the cards, I would rehome while you can.

So give it a good scrubbing again and it will eventually stop coming back?

I've had my tank running for about three months now, stocked with cichlids. 50% weekly water changes. My problem is the brown algae building up on the rocks. Three weeks ago I took all the rocks out and scrubbed the algae off. Now it's all coming back. Is there something I can do to avoid this...
