I think I purchased 150 lbs from my LFS. I special ordered it and I think I paid around $125-150.00 for the total lot. They do not deal in SW so I had to pick it up immediately.

I have had the setup since July 2005. It was started with base rock only.

This is what my rock currently looks like. Is this healthy live rock or algea infested.

I look at a lot of tanks and everyone of them seems to have bright white sand or crushed coral. I then look at mine and see a small amount of discoloration, Mostly green or dark purple. How do you keep your substrate clean. I use a gravel syphon everytime I clean/water change. Any suggestions? :?

I am wanting to start adding corals to my 100 gallon tank. I am lighting the tank with (2) 260 watt lights. Each 48" strip contains (2) 65 watt white bulbs and (2) 65 watt actinic. Looking for a little advice on what I should consider and what can live in the limited lighting that I have. Thanks

I have had this fish in my tank since last Saturday. It has not shown any interest in eating. It still appears to be healthy. I realize that it takes awhile before they will want to eat, but at what point should I become concerned? I have offered him krill, but he just swims away. I put guppies...

Did you start with live feeding and progress to the frozen or did you just start with the frozen?

So by using the calculator on this web page it says I can add 20?? fish. Of course I know not all at once, but that sounds like alot. Does that sound correct
