Hi, I have a planted tank and I dose EI and have pressurized. About 2 weeks ago I had a shrimp death but I though that it could be a fertilizer overdose. But now 3 rummynose tetras died. I can't get it. PH 6.8 - 7, no ammonia and no nitrites. My tap water has high GH. What could be the problem?

I personally dose the same day but after ~3hrs to leave some time for the fish to settle down.

What pump strength (l/h) do you recommend for a 55g? I have a 600 l/h but is seems to be overkill since it sways the plants so I had to install a spraybar.

Thanks people for the replies. What I am going to do is eliminate the pipe part and buy a connection to join the solenoid and the regulator directly.

Hi, I have a 4kg CO2 tank and it only last for a month - month and a half. Some say it lasts for 3 months. I also shut it off during the night. Do I have a leak? My solenoid valve is not directly connected to the regulator but via an intermediate CO2 pipe with clips on the ends to prevent leaks...

I have a small chinese algae eater at the bottom. Does it bother them? If yes I will get rid of him.

KH2PO4 - I meant Potassium Dihydrogren Phosphate. It is mentioned in Barr's EI dosing: 40-60 Gallon Aquariums +/- 1/2 tsp KN03 3x a week +/- 1/8 tsp KH2P04 3x a week +/- 1/8 tsp K2S04 3x a week +/- 1/8 (10ml) Trace Elements 3x a week 50% weekly water change
