    Anubias Help?

The issue is light. 5 hours a day is not sufficient for a plant to complete its growth cycle. And two 5 watt LEDs is a minuscule amount of light. Anubias is a slow growing plant which means it is not going to use much fertilizer. Perhaps it appears to be OK now, but if you want to see...

    Any information about this plant?

I presume you meant 2 feet not 2 inches! :brows: Yeah all swords are basically the same in growing habits and needs. They are heavy root feeders, if your tank is less than a year old, a good source of nitrogen at the roots will make a big difference. I use Jobes plant sticks. Side note: I hope...

Would u pay ten bucks for one stem of Hygrophila?

That is really not true at all. The only hygro specie that is out right banned in the USA is polysperma, and this plant unlike other hygros grows very slowly. I have the federal noxious weed list right here in front of me. I sold plants for ten years... Good news! Florida Aquatic Nurseries, the...

    on the edge of madness!!

How big is your tank? Two 24 watt bulbs wouldn't be enough light if your tank is more than 50 gallons. How long are you leaving the lights on every day? It should be no less than 10 hours EVERY day.

    Fiddler Crab Build

Dr. Tims fishless cycle product works the best. Cycling just for crabs really isn't needed. You should read this article about setting up a crab tank. I wrote it for Freshwater and Marine Aquarium Magazine Fiddler Crab

    Comprehensive List Of Plant Profiles

Vesuvius is a mutation of E. angustifolia. You make it sound like they are one and the same plant. This is not the case. Vesuvius has curled and twisted leaves while normal angustifolia is a straight leaf with no curl or twist what so ever. The mutation was discovered by Oriental Aquarium of...

Would u pay ten bucks for one stem of Hygrophila?

I hear you! My friend, Joshua Wiegert who is a writer for Aquarium Fish International magazine and lives in Baltimore, told me just last week at his clubs auction, one eight inch stem went for over 30 dollars! Thats just insane!

Would u pay ten bucks for one stem of Hygrophila?

Would u pay ten bucks for one stem of Hygrophila? Hygrophila pinnatifida is one of the coolest looking stem plants I have ever seen, and even though it has been kicking around the internet for a little while now, it is still pretty new, and in the USA the only way to buy it is from other...

You must be a member of the Houston Plant club to get all those plants, because 90% of them are not available from any commercial source in the USA. Some neat looking plants. Some of them are simular looking to more commonly available plants.
