The tank was used for a salt water set up before i got it i was going to fix it all up but i dont have time for it now the stand is in good shape the tank is in good shape and it holds water (tested 2 months ago) the hood is ok, you could get a new hood or if your handy you could do some work...

i cleaned out the tank im not going to use any of the old stuff now i just have to figure out what kind of filter i want to use

it was just substrate and coral in no water they took out all dead fish 3 years ago but never cleaned out the tank

i just got a 55 gallon salt tank that died 3 years ago (fish coral) it still had all the coral and substrate in it no water should i throw everything out and start over or can i use some of the old coral as base

its like a mix of big and small i need to take a picture of it could i just put like an inch of small gravel right over half the tank im really only planting heavy on one side

no underground filter I just liked the way the rocks looked they hold the plants pretty good you think the bigger gravel is a problem

well the gourami are pretty big and the pink tail chalcus dont both the balas which are a bit smaller than the chalceus what other kind of fish could i put in instead of gouramis

I just set one up and i have a bala shark in there and im treating with melafix i put some gravel from my big tank but the meds say take out the carbon so i dont really have any bacteria in there other than the bit of gravel the melafix says do a water change after a week so im wondering if...

how did you feed them beef, like little shreds and dropped them in? and did you use feeder fish for live food ?

does anyone have exp with these fish like what they eat and things like that
