    Pearl gouramis are peaceful, medium-sized gouramis. You could try them out and I highly doubt they would kill anything. Honey gouramis stay fairly small but are very peaceful as well. Rainbowfish, tetras (non-nippy types), and many other schooling fish do well with gouramis. In my tanks that...

    Freshwater fish i just dont see much anymore

    I have an African Butterfly fish and a Polypterus ornatipinnis. I've had ropefish but they found a tiny spot to jump out of the tank. :( Haven't seen ropefish for sale lately either.

    Ever see him scratch against gravel or a decoration? If he's scratching, it could be gill parasites. If he's not scratching, try treating with melafix again and follow what it says on the bottle.

    The "fin rot" could be just that the tiger barbs are being nippy or the gouramis going after each other. Scraping against the gravel is usually a sign of parasites. Have you introduced any new fish into this tank recently?

    65 liters is about 17 gallons, way too small for a pleco and silver shark. Plecos produce a lot of waste and get too big for that small of a tank. You should do water changes every week for good water quality. Does the red thing on the fin look something like this...
