What kind of loach is it? Maybe we should all be learning CPR for possible emergency fish situations. :P

Aggressiveness... what am I doing wrong? Should I quit?

Pearl gouramis are peaceful, medium-sized gouramis. You could try them out and I highly doubt they would kill anything. Honey gouramis stay fairly small but are very peaceful as well. Rainbowfish, tetras (non-nippy types), and many other schooling fish do well with gouramis. In my tanks that...

Freshwater fish i just dont see much anymore

I have an African Butterfly fish and a Polypterus ornatipinnis. I've had ropefish but they found a tiny spot to jump out of the tank. :( Haven't seen ropefish for sale lately either.

it has been three weeks and neon is still not heeling!

Ever see him scratch against gravel or a decoration? If he's scratching, it could be gill parasites. If he's not scratching, try treating with melafix again and follow what it says on the bottle.

    Jungle Fungus Clear

The "fin rot" could be just that the tiger barbs are being nippy or the gouramis going after each other. Scraping against the gravel is usually a sign of parasites. Have you introduced any new fish into this tank recently?

    Cloudy eye...?

65 liters is about 17 gallons, way too small for a pleco and silver shark. Plecos produce a lot of waste and get too big for that small of a tank. You should do water changes every week for good water quality. Does the red thing on the fin look something like this...

    Senegal Bichir discoloration -be concerned?

Could be because of the stress from moving to the other tank.

    Anyone Breed Pearl Gouramis?

Are there any fish currently in the 10 gallon? If not, the tank is probably no longer cycled. A seeded sponge filter (as Brian mentioned) would be best for the breeding tank. You'd possibly want to keep the air pump off until the fry are free-swimming or else the bubblenest may get destroyed. A...

What can I have/What do I need? Low maintenance

Check out the Rena Filstar XP4 canister filter. I have an XP3, it is quiet and has a flow control knob if you want to limit bubbles (not sure if the Fluvals do). The fish you want should be fine, except the neon tetras (depending what species of rainbow(s) you want). Many of the larger types of...

You can try putting an ad of the 35 hex on http://www.craigslist.org/ to give or sell it locally.

Preparing to get yelled at... :(

All of those fish are unfortunately in for a very short life in such a small tank. Do you think your father would read about them on the internet or ask a local fish store about them? Hopefully something can convince him to give them to a more suitable home.

Help Dave choose his fish! Gourami Questions!

It might not be a good idea to have a male dwarf gourami with male guppies. The gourami may harass the guppies because of their large tails and flashy colors. I'm not sure on this, though it is something to consider.
