I have Fluval 306 and Emperor 400 HOB in my 55 gal,both are fantastic ...Fluval is great...flow rate is great and you can customize media baskets...water clarity is top notch since I'm using purigen as a last stage of filtration...big plus of canisters is also how quiet they are, you can't hear...

Hi guys, Question...I have Fluval 306 canister filter on my 55gal tank, yesterday my wife brought emperor 400 HOB filter from work , so I decided to put on my tank, now they are both running...is this an overkill or there is no such thing like overfilttation.... Thanks :)

Got my son a 10gal tank with marineland 150b filter. I was thinking about getting 5 neon tetras 5 glo danios rerio and 5 ghost shrimp. Tank is cycling now . Will stock like that work?
