Like a lot of fish, they're not gonna breed instantly. They'll need time to condition for breeding, realise they want to breed with the other krib and pick out a spot. Live foods to condition them. Also give them a cave which has one entrance to defend and a roof (they lay eggs on the roof).
My mollies wound my Betta up, which is ironic because when I bought him from the shop he'd been in a tank with balloon mollies and had munched the tails of a few before being separated.
Need a clearer picture. Honey Gourami's can be tough to sex. Oftentimes one is advised to "buy three and hope there's a pair". Some help otherwise:

Aglae in itself shouldn't be a huge bother if you keep the water clean. You could: Take it away from direct sunlight or bright lights; cover it with gravel or sand so it dies off; clean it with a toothbrush.
