    unfortunatly im very limited for space in my aquarium,the only place i have really is a little area on the substrate which luckily is pretty much directly under the halide.the water depth is actually only 18 inches deep,the clam has opened up and seems to be happy so ill just have to see how he...

    150watt halides,as for the species im not entirly sure,a customer brought it into the shop i work at cos he was taking his tank down.its brownish in colour with yellow flecks,it hasnt opend fully yet but looks like it could be blue in the middle.hope that helps.

    hi all,i have 2 150watt metal halides above my tank,during the day when they are on my water temp rises to 83degrees.will this cause me a problem?,if so how do i sort it? :roll:

    melafix is a good treatment,and it makes your tank smell really nice :P ,word of warning though some soft corals dont like it,african blue been one of them,it melted mine i was gutted :wink:

    ive checked for blockages and its only 2 months old,ive heard of a needle conversion kit you can get,but i think it should be collecting more than it is without it. :?

    i agree emerald crabs(or gorrilla crabs which they like 2 call em at work)work really well at getting rid of the dredded hair algie,it worked for me anyway.failling that i had a meeting with the guy who develops all the bio claire products,not sure if u r familliar with bio-claire but basically...
