hi all,i have 2 150watt metal halides above my tank,during the day when they are on my water temp rises to 83degrees.will this cause me a problem?,if so how do i sort it?

What is your night time temperature? I ask because i acutally keep my tanks at 82-84F range anyway.

If your night time to day time temp swing is not all that great (2-3degrees) then it will be fine. If your swinging more like 5-10 then you might want to find a way to drop the water temp in the day or bump your heaters some so they keep the night time temp a little higher.
