Just to update this i ended up treating with both antibiotic and it worked 3yrs later and my babies are all still healthy with no other problems :)

i think your thinking of amano shrimp which can only have surviving shrimplets in brackish waters my ghost shrimp breed like crazy in my regular freshwater tank :) to the op i use moss clumps for my shrimp and the babies love it it is also a great hiding place for the babies

i just picked up 12 more CPD's to add to my tank and 4 panda cory's i am now going to be fully stocked can't wait to get them oh and i also got some giant hairgrass as well to add to the back of the tank :D

what i had to do with my danios is go buy a big tank net and then use the small one to basically chase them into the big one caught all 6 of my danio's in less than 2 mins that way :D way less stressful to the fish that way too

that sounds like an even better idea :D

if it were me i'd get the 29g i think of it as your paying almost 200.00 more for 5 more gallons maybe it's just me though

i really love them they are great little fish i'm thinking about ordering 12 more so i have 24 in my tank they love to swim around and are just now starting to livin up and come to the front of the tank when it's feeding time and when i come in the room how many do you have in your tank ?

i'm using api co2 booster no co2 injections yet though but thinking about it for better plant growth also using root tabs and florish comprehensive

plants are growing great fish are doing well my updated fish list is 12 Celestial Pearl Danio (these fish are awesome i love them) 4 juli cory cats 3 peppered cory cats 1 albino cory cat misc ghost shrimp and ramshore snails i also have 2 berried ghost shrimp so i must be doing something right...

no every oscar i've ever had even when i kept a pair of them would rearrange the tank they put it the way they want it it's just how they are if you do remove the bubble ring just make sure there is enough o2 in the water as oscars are messy maybe someone else may have a different insight but...

oscars are know for changing their tanks around to their liking it's normal not sure anything short of nailing things down would stop him you could try using aquarium glue and gluing all your decorations to slate stone and then burying it under the substrate that might help goodluck i love...

thanks katherine i have fungus meds and antibiotic just need to figure out if it gram positive bacteria or gram - so i can treat no one has seen this before ????

no the nitrates are 10 and the ph is at 8 i just can't figure out what it is, i've been looking at different things from what i can find it's either a fungus or a bacteria just not sure hoping someone else has seen this so i can know for sure and treat it, i feel so bad for the little guy :(
