Do the shrimps help with the tank bottom cleaning? Would the betta harm him?
If I max out at 5/6 neons, (1) snail, (2) adf, (1) male betta could I add (2) shrimp? (My sons get a kick out of the frog most, followed by the snail) would I be over stocked?
10 gallon freshwater started sept 18, 2012
(1) male betta. (3) neon tetras. (1) mystery snail. (1) African dwarf frog
PH 7.8
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5.0
I just did a 20% water change
Hi gang. I have a 10 gallon w/ (1) male betta, (1) black mystery snail, (3) neon tetras & (1) African dwarf frog
I am getting mixed answered when I ask how many fish are too much for my tank.
I would like to get (2) more neons and either (1) frog or (1) more snail.
Any comments are appreciated
I was looking at my 10 gallon tank yesterday after I got (3) neon tetras and (1) snail to join my betta. Do I have too many fake plants? Should I remove some? Should I add more ornaments instead?
So I bought (3) neon tetras and (1) snail yesterday to join my betta in my 10 gallon tank. Since I woke up this morning, this is what I've been seeing. Is the snail in danger? I keep turning the snail over off its back so I am thinking the betta is attacking it and turning it on its back
I just picked up (3) neon Tetras and (1) snail
I was also told (5) pellets are ok to feed the betta but every OTHER day as I have the LARGE pellets!! So much for my listening skills when I bought them.
Anyway. Thanks for your help!
I'm not sure of the size pellets. I will let know know when I get back home.
We are actually on our way to get tankmates LOL! It's a tank that we are using as part of my son's reward system. So we are going to get (2) more fish
Hi. I have a 10 gallon tank with 1 betta fish. I bought pellet food when I got it. How many pellets per day should I be feeding it?
I was told 5 pellets per day.
I am using the APi master kit
I just started testing the nitrItes a few days ago
Can I/Should do a 90% water change tonight? Then test in 24hrs. Redose the ammonia (I use 2ml to get to 4ppm when I started), then retest a couple of hours after that and see where I'm at?
