    Thanks for all the help. I saw a clip on youtube, starting the intake manually to siphon then attaching hose to intake port. Fired right up.

    I just bought my first canister filter and i am unfamiliar with them. I can't quite seem to get it to work. any common troubleshooting that can be solved? Thanks, this is my first post :oops:
