I had this problem with my skimmer I have a tmc 400 skim and my tank was like a sandstorm so I got a nylon stocking and put it over the return pipe (dident pull it tight left it lose ish) and it trapped the bubbles... Worked for me.. Hope it helps

How do you get rid of the algae do I just pull it off??

Yes I test it for nitrite and ammonia plus the salt level

I Have had my new tank running for a while now so added a few fish over time but lately I have noticed brown residue so to speak or Algie?? growing on the glass rock and sand (see picture of sand) is this fine or do I need to do something?? If so what?? This is the brown residue..

It's green and shines bright under blue light It's the green balls and the clam shell thing??
