    Canister Media Advice

I was tempted to try BIOHOME stuff, but apparently it disintegrates over the course of 1-2 years.

    Spilling water ?

When you say you end up spilling water, I guess you mean when you take off the hoses and move it to clean it? A few drops always find their way out somehow, usually just what's been held after the valves.

Hagan - Fluval - Customer Service

Whenever I've phoned Hagen, for either business or customer service needs, I get straight through to reception, who pop me on to the relevant department. But every single time, answer machine (which I'm always assured I will get a call back). Nope, Zip - Nada. Really irritates me, takes them...

I wouldn't see any problem with just replacing all the bulbs at once.

    Roma 200 and external filter

You could pay for a local glass company to cut the holes, but you do run the risk of the tank getting damaged. You should be able to pick up the other parts from ebay etc, failing that you could get spare parts for the Vicenza or Venezia directly from Fluval. I have a Fluval Vicenza 180, I run...

    Quiet air pump

I've got a Tetra APS150, I find it's quiet so long as none of the wires are touching the cabinet etc. The air stone is what seems to make the most noise.

Red ear slider adoption. Need some input

I'd just keep the turtle on its own. There isn't enough room in that tank to introduce more animals, especially not another turtle (They will inevitably fight in a tank that small)

    Red eared sliders

Sorry it's taken me a while to reply, I've been really busy. It depends on his size really. He probably could survive in a 55 gallon provided that it's filled to the brim and he has an above tank basking area. Some people will say it's not recommended etc, but so long as he doesn't grow HUGE...

    Ammonia remover

Just as a note, depending on what you're stocking I always keep 100 grams of carbon in my filter (and replace it every month), I find it helps to keep away any smells etc that may occur.

    Red eared sliders

Pyramiding is a long-term process, a good solid couple of months of over feeding is required to even start showing it. It's still mad what they'll go for, anything that wiggles looks like dinner.

    Red eared sliders

Once upon a time, I had about 15 Leopard Danios in with my turtles. One day, I only had 8. The next day, I had none. So yeah, not doing that again... haha

    Marimo moss ball?

I've tried using these in my tank, my turtles love them and tear them to shreds!
