Don't feed her for 3-4 days and then give her the prepared pea. This will ensure her digestive system has time to help clean itself, without interruption from new food.
I have a betta who was lethargic for about a week and after a few days of fasting, he perked right up.

My male dumbo betta gets along just fine with the 8 red cherry shrimp that live with him in his 10 gallon. I even found some baby shrimp just yesterday!
But yes, it differs for each betta on how they will react to the shrimp.

I'm happy to report that my betta is doing much better.
I changed out the filter cartridge, deep cleaned any ornaments and the glass, and did a 50% water change.
In combination with fasting my betta, it has proven to be successful.
Thank you all for your input. It was greatly appreciated! ...
I noticed after I was feeding him last night, that he was slowly floating down towards the bottom of his tank. Not drastically but it was enough to make me notice that something may be up.
Since my water parameters aren't an obvious sign of distress, I'm gonna assume it's this swim bladder...
He's in a 10 gallon tank, with a new heater. I have been reading about swim bladder disorder, which I think he might have.
I will try fasting him for a few days to see if that helps his digestive system and gets him back to normal.

For the past week, my male betta fish has had a significant change in his behavior. Where he once used to swim all over his tank, now he can always be found perfectly still at the bottom of his tank or nestled up in the floating plants.
Ammonia: between 0-.25ppm

I would increase the cory school size to at least 4, they are always happier with more.
Adding a betta would be just fine or possibly a dwarf gourami.
Since you're going to a smaller tank, just be sure to keep up with a weekly partial water change, as smaller tanks require more attention than...
I have my male betta in a 10 gallon with a ramshorn snail and 8 red cherry shrimp.
You could also get some smaller corys. 4-5 would be just fine in a 15 gallon, either pygmy (preferably) or julii.

Over the past couple of weeks, I've been noticing my betta's tail fin deteriorating.
He's by himself in a planted 10 gallon. I do weekly 30% water changes but he's still loosing his tail fin.
Ammonia - 0
Nitrites - 0
Nitrates - 0-10
Could this be fin rot?

I have 8 Julii corys and I will witness 2-3 of them "racing" each other from one end of my tank to the other end. It's rather entertaining and it happens quite often.
Other days they will all be pretty mellow and enjoy making there way, in a conga line, all around the bottom of the tank...
I bought them from a local fish store, I try to avoid the big chains.
I've never had any issues with other fish I bought from them but I suppose it could have been a weak batch of pygmys.

Howdy!
So I have lost 5 of the 8 pygmy corys that I added to my tank last week. I added 4 last Monday and the last 4 on last Friday.
I have a well established 10 gallon tank, it's decently planted, average water temp fluctuates between 77-80. I have had a male crown tail betta living in it for...
