Your tank is not properly cycled. You need to check your ammonia, nitrites and nitrates. You're in a fish in cycle so look it up and be ready to do water changes
There's hundreds of different types of plecos, I'm thinking you have a common pleco which will grow to atleast a foot in length. I would rehome the fish if I were you. It'll be waaaay too big for your tank.
I have a pair of Kribs with some Rosy Barbs and Mollies. KriBs get aggressive only when spawning, however your tank should be fine as they like the hang out at the bottom and your other first will keep the top busy which relaxes the Kribs. I say go for it!
I decided to go with some Kribs! Here's my pair, they are living with some Rosy Barbs and Mollys. Probably a little overstocked but I'm over filtered.
