Hi All
I am in the process of cycling my second tank.
It is 36x15x18 which I think makes it a 35 gallon tank.
It will have plenty of bogwood, caves, plants etc and I would like a little advice from anyone who has kept one or more Rainbow sharks in a community tank.
The guy at my local specialist...
Thats about what I thought. Thanks for confirming it.
My local fish shop tried to tell me that 10 - 12 would be fine, the other day.
I just agreed and left the shop.
We thought that White cloud mountain minnows would be a good start.
This first tank is only a 3 gallon so it does not have a lot of water to absorb any mistakes and I understand the white clouds are a very hardy fish and good for beginners.

Hi
We have a crystal clear stream that runs past my farmhouse which actually provides our drinking water and water for the aquarium for that matter.
Can I use Rocks, gravel, sand etc from it for the aquarium ?
If so what do I have to do to it in order to make sure it is ok?
Any tests that I...
Thanks for the reply. Yes there is a heater in the tank....25w, it is currently set at about 75 whilst it is cycling but that will go down to 67/68 ( assuming white clouds go in).
Hi all
Although I used to keep Fancy Goldfish 25 years ago when I was a boy, since then I have not been involved in fish keeping.
I have spent the last 2 months doing research on the net about how I need to start and this is where I`m up to.
I started the fishless cycle about 3 weeks ago using...
