I do have problems matching the water temperature with my python as I fill it back up. I fiddle with the faucet and a digital thermometer but I cannot seem to equally match the temperature to that of my tank's. Any suggestions? It must be the temperature..
Is it normal for Mbuna to pick on the smallest fish in the group? They've took pieces out his caudal fin and scales from his body. They're pretty mean for vegetarians.

My juvenile poilt cichlid has dug itself a nest under a rock and is now guarding it from its tank mates. I was wondering if this signifies maturity because he is the only one who's done this. He/she is a 2-2.5" polit cichlid.

Everything I worked for is on the line and I just got my fish two days ago (15 cichlids 3 species mbuna). Their lives are in PG&E's hands now. What a shame!
