Trying to decide when to move the fry back into the big tank. Need more hiding spots for the little guys.

Your ready to put it in the tank ad far as I see. The hot water helped the brown leach out of the wood. Some times it takes for ever so just put it in and do water changes as needed. :D Do you have pics of the tank and wood?

+1 with what She said. Warmer water, Salt and clean cycled water is the best. I find improving water conditions is the best way of cure on most.

But But But, Oh man. :whistle:

Even after boiling it may turn brown a little at a time. Ive had the same drift wood for years and it still changes to a brown after 2 or 3 weeks. Then I just do my water changes.

Stress will do it. Some fish are more sensitive than others. I've had a couple go like that in the past. Sorry for the loss. Poor fish.

I use two Penguin 200's and a sponge filter on my 50 gallon. I agree on the over filtering comments. :cool:

I'm maneuvering fish around. I'm trying to figure out Jo to best compliment my Plecos with a few of my other fish. Maybe in my 20 gallon long until they get older. Then move them to my 75 or 50 gallon.
