Ok did you test for Ammonia,Nitrate and Nitrite your problem could be there.if you can't test then do a 10% water change every day for a week and see if anything changes if not you might as well put him in your main tank if that is possible. Stressed he can't be to much cause they normally come...

You won't have any problems, do you prepare your wc water with the prime or do you add when you change?

Depending on how much flow you want power head/wave maker you will need two, one each in a opposite corner cause believe me I went up to 3500 g/h twin wave makers in opposite corners on my 8ft and I just had enough flow to get thing turning and power heads could not come close to it. the problem...
