i would like to one day get one tank for my Midevil and Flowerhorn... the midevil is a 12" and is very very aggressive... the flowerhorn is maybe 9" and he not as aggressive but he always had tank mates through out his life... the Midevil has always lived alone i tried to put tank mates with...
hello,
i inherited these plants... had for the last couple years they been doing good... just curries of what type they are and if there is any recomendations on there care?
thanks...Mike
so iv had these two together for over a year with no problems... i moved some plants around due to them getting to big an growing out of the tank...and that is when they started into each other... always thought the blue one was female and the other i thought was male do to the spots on...
i had a Jack Dempsey with a Tiger Oscar... they seamed to got along fine up until a re-home both of them... they were were both probably pushing 5" before they left the tank cause of there size..
this Cichlid was sold to me as a Red Texas.. but from what i read they can get up to 10 to 12 inches... but this guy seams to be lucky if he is pushing 9 inches... he is year and half to two years old...
so can anyone ID him as something else or is he just a small Red texas...?
i did find some of that seachem excel... looks like its for plant growth.... so i guess the theory is the iron in it might kill the eggs/bugs? like copper does to snails...
no nitrite snails in tank... i do have some cider at home i can try... but they do not seem to be flying outside of tank... im going to see i can get better camera an get close up shot of them...
yeah i have mystery snails before an there egg's are big clump an they like to lay there eggs above the water an on the lid sometimes... these eggs some are below an some above water line ...
can anyone identify and how do i get rid of these flies, gnats or what ever they are?
is there a type of fish that would eat these things up?
i cleaned everything an smashed a allot of eggs but still come back with vengeance...
don't have picture of the flies them self there to small but...
