Starting an Oscar tank and looking for what brand canister filters anyone could recommend for a decent price that are rated up to 100-120g. Tank is 75g. I saw that Eheim filters had a good rating, but didnt like the green tubing.

The lfs is pretty far from my house and I am wondering how I can store RODI water. Can I keep a 5 gallon bucket with RODI water in it with an aerator running?

I currently have a 30g FOWLR. On this tank I was using a filter. I'm moving this tank into a 60g and want to get rid of my filter. If I have the necessary amount of live rock, can I just use live rock and my skimmer which is up to 100g for filtration? :thanks:

For a skimmer I would recommend getting an Octopus skimmer. I've had no problems with mine only other than the crappy directions it came with but you can find help online with it. Look up Octopus BH100. I would also stay away from a canister filter and just run it with live rock and your hang...

Oh darn I read that they had to be in a 55 minimum. In that case ill scratch that idea. I'd hate to cram a fish in an aquarium. Any other cool fish you would recommend getting?

No its just live rock and sand. I would get a sump but my parents dont want me flooding the house unfortunetly. I dont mind the main of a hob really.
