I saw a ghost shrimp eat a piece of my bettas tail once. It was the size of a bloodworm but it was blue and i could see it in his stomach. Since then I haven't kept them with the bettas

I had my aquariums since December 26 had many fish die but never a frog. (Silver Molly's,hatchets,ottos,an angelfish,a dwarf cichlid.. all died ! meanwhile I've had the same 5 frogs this whole time) Lol In my experience These fish never die ; platy , guppy , Priscilla tetra,Chinese algae...

I have 6 African dwarf frogs. They were in species only tank for a long time and fairly inactive ,unless I was feeding them. . But now there are 3 fish in the tank and lots more plants (new Anubia ) and hiding spots. I find they swim around a lot more and are more interesting and fun to watch

I have 6 African dwarf frogs and 3 platys in a ten gallon with live plants. I had 5 of them in there since January. And just got given another 1. The 3 platys have been I. There for a week but I'm giving them away tomorrow.

Found them all in the filter eating happily. Put them back in tank. Counted at least 7 lol

I gave away 2 of my black male platys they were getting bullied too much and were always hiding. I think because I had 5 males no females.

Thank you. I'm not sure what kind of plant the floating one is actually. I got it at my local pet store. I have some in my beta tank planted and its growing very quickly and the tips are a brighter red color.

Thanks ! over the past 6 months I've learned what type of plant does the best with my fish water and lighting so I have no problems anymore with dead plant leaves etc. the plants growing like wildfire. I will post pics tomorrow

Hi guys ! I have a 26g Bowfront with a fluval c3 filter and a fluval fully submersible Nano filter (for 10-15g) an airstone and lots of live plants. Fish are 1 female silver molly 12 pristella tetras 10amano shrimp 1 orange male platy 3 black male platys with orange faces

Nice ! I prefer sand also it's easier to see what areas in the tank the dirt accumulates so therefore easier to clean

underwater theme with seaweed sunken submarine etc might get a blue background

I changed my densely planted jungle tank with fluorite gravel and rocks to a tank with all white sand at the bottom with a sunken submarine etc and this one is kind of a work in progress

It's looking so good now :) so happy about the plants!

A little more about my tank.. I have about 8 Amano shrimp 12 priscela tetras 5 male platys and 1 white Molly it's a 26 g bow front with a fluval c3 filter. I tested my water yesterday it was 0amonia 0nitrites 5nitrate ph7

I Struggle all the time deciding what I want my tank to look like. I tell myself white sand and an empty modern tank is what I'm going for. But it always ends up looking so packed lol so now I just cut all my plants a lot. Will leave it till it grows abit then I plan on adding white sand over...
