It would be great if you could upload a pic... ;) to make sure your platy is pregnant I would buy a divider for your tank or some sort of baby nursery... This would separate the gourami from the platy... If you buy a baby nursery, you can put the platy there and wait for her to give birth...

Check in your local fish store to see if they have start up bacteria.... If they don't just leave your tank running for 15-30 days for the bacteria to grow on their own... Read "The Nitrogen Cycle";) To see if the filter is good enough for the tank we need to know what type of filter it is...

The Giant Danios,

I am sort of nervous if the Angels do bully the ABF. But I have noticed that they only bother there kind. The gourami usually hangs around with them without burnt bullied (pic attacked). My large catfish sometimes goes up to the top of the tank and sucks food up, and the Angels never touch him...

Ok, I put in many different kinds of ich medication and the dots are starting to fade after the last one I tried. I also used salt and heat to fix the problem. Thx strange thing is is that that was the only fish with ich in my aquarium for it is set up and I really haven't had any problems...

Water has been at 90 degrees for almost a week now and tried all the ich cures in my local pet stores. :confused: :banghead: :hide: I am not sure if my fish can tolerate salt? Thanks, for any more help:thanks:

I have put up a test tank with all the fish and only 6 neons and everything is going smooth (with the catfish) :)

I was THINKING about putting him with neons... And they are the only problem He is in a 55g tank right now with double the needed filtration with 2 bio wheel 350 filters Thanks!

Dwarf Gourami's aren't really aggressive they may nip each other though (its the larger ones that can be). I think you have a nice list but the Gourami's should be kept alone or in groups of three. For i have lost a couple do to this. Next i have heard that barbs can be aggressive but i am not...

Thanks I already have lots of plants. I will try to buy some root tabs for the plants too. The thing about lighting is that my tank has a special hood and I can't install new lights.��
