    Thanks fresh! I believe the pH out of my tap is around 7.6-7.8! New Years I bought 4 more black Phantoms! Making the school 5 males and 2 females; a little skewed but I might go back and get 1 fem. I also added 3 Oto cats! Already noticing a decrease in algae on plants, and they are growing...

    So I'm pretty sure for most genes in guppies the males colors will be dominant. I tried a crossing red tuxedo male with a turquoise female, and most of the fish came out red tuxedo! Some blue shows through, but they are definitely red. I know there are a few colors that pass through from females...
