What Made You Want A Freshwater Aquarium?

My uncle had caught a blue crayfish and thought it would make a great pet for me. I fed it turtle food and the occasional dinner scrap. He died trying to get out of the tank. I kept fish ever since (think I'll try a cobalt blue lobster one day). His name was Digger.

    Betta tankmates

175g. Okay so harlequin rasbora school, glass cat school and male betta. Could I add an emarlald cory, or are they too glamorous ?

    Neon tetras with guppies

I kept them together. The only thing you have to worry about is the fry.

    Betta tankmates

Any ideas? Large tank with plenty of cover. Would glass cats work? They are complete opposites to the betta. Other options appreciated and sought after. Thanks☺. P.s. It's going to be a male.

    Convict help

Hi. Just wondering if I could put a convict in my tank. It has a jewel cichlid, crabro cichlid, aurutus and thinking of getting a convict. Ph of 7.0 temp of 27C, large tank and high filteration. If this won't work, what will that looks like it's from the reef. Thanks!

    Cichlid cults

I'm thinking some large enough for a maingano cichlid to consume. Maybe I could used feeder shrimp like ghost shrimp. I am not warm to the idea though as a cult of shrimps need water and another tank. Thanks or waking me up to that small pesticide fact, FishayFishay.

    Cichlid cults

What are some small, easy to catch and breed cults for my african cichlids? I often find crickets or cockroaches around my place. I want some free cults to just catch, so shrimps are out of the question. Thanks

    Electric Blue + Tiger Oscar

Your oscar will gorge itself on smaller tankmates and needs lots protein because of it's meaty natural food. If you keep the fish together, your tank will either be blood-red or an endemic of ich will spread thanks to the stress of the ph difference. So your going to need a new tank.

    Extra Stocking Advice

I'd add more serpae tetras. Even though it is schooling with other species, they do appreciate a friend of the same species (and yes, they will not mind if it's a different variation, not that I know any).

    Small african cichlids

Hey guys, just recovered from a severe fungal endemic. Everything has been sterilised. I was wondering what are some small cichlids for an African setup. It's 383.78 L. 3 factors I really like. This is a order of what I like the best. 1. Odd looks. 2. Color. 3. Interesting behavior. Thank you...

    What is this cluster

Oh, and the ship, of course.

    What is this cluster

Sadly, the fungal infection spreaded before I could isolate it, wiping out the whole tank. But now I have killed of the fungi, sterilized the epuipment, tank and substrate. This lesson was harsh, but I have now learned that even temporary tank can inflict damage. I will get smaller cichlids...

    What is this cluster

It turns out it was a fungal infection. I isolated it from the others, but it still died, thanks for the help, though

    What is this cluster

Please don't tell me my electric yellow is pregnant. All that's in there is a juvenile frontosa.

    Convict issue

You have a spare tank, right? You could use it as a breeding tank.

    Couldn't pass these up!!

Woooow, are you going to breed them?
