ok so i set up my 55gallon a couple months ago but hadnt added any ammonia or food/dead shrimp to it untill a week ago and i could never get any ammonia readings on my test so i decided to test for nitrates today and got a reading of 10 ppm lol so i guess it cycled without me knowing any input...

I have been thinking about changing my 55 gallon mbuna tank before i put the fish in, into a planted aquarium this would of course mean i need to upgrade my lights and substrate as i currently am using pool filter sand not sure if i can use that and will need to get a co2 tank any suggestiosn...

Well after my 10 gallon was let go it went crazy and most of my plants died sadly and i got a lot of algea growth which im fighting against. i was just wondering if anyone had extra plants or trimmings they would be willing to give or sell to me in a couple weeks when i have everything running...

recently i had 1 of my yellow labs die and now today found my aulonocara blue neon sp? male die and i think the culprit may be my other dominant male aulon. any suggestions on what to do the fish looked healthy before today. should i wait it out or move him to another tank or give him away?

ok i recently took my 10g down and set it back up in a new tank because the old one was well really old. and now i have bright green spot algea on my anubias nana. as wall as what i think is diatoms but possible hair algea i dont have water params at this time but will hopefully post some soon...

i bought a metal 55g stand but im not to sure about the support of the middle of the tank :( so i was thinking putting a piece of wood across the whole top of the stand but need suggestions about what i could use for the middle support so its not all on the 4 legs...ui was thinking maybe cynder...
