Ok I do about the same water change schedule for my Africans
My lights are on longer since I'm trying to get some green algae to grow
If you wanna get rid of it I have great luck with an algaecide
Other wise let it grow on the rocks and just scrub it off the glass
I have a rose tail mail betta in my 10 gallon he is housed with 6 harlequin rasboras and a platy
The betta does fine no aggression issues but he is not very active
My angelfish are the same way 2 feedings work great and keep up with water changes
I have mine set for an auto feeder while I'm at work then I will feed them myself at night
Try frozen foods found it fills them up better
In your mind is there anything that can be added to the tank to replace the oscar since it looks kinda barren with both the jack an catfish hiding most times
Came home today to find out my oscar has jumped out of my 55 gallon tank and was on the floor in front of the tank
He was housed with a synodontis catfish and a jack Dempsey
The tank is mainly covered there are ends that are not for about 4 inches
I tested the water
Ph 7.2
Ammonia 0 ppm...
