Actually, Scats will mow BBA. I put two in my tank and the decimated a pretty heavy BBA infestation in less than a week. They are still in my tank and I haven't seen a spot of BBA since.

Quick easy answer, put a single small Scat in there. It'll eat every bit of BBA in the tank inside a week. I had a bad problem in my 125 gallon tank, put 2 in there and it was all gone inside a week. Get a small one, dump it when the problem is solved and you have the root nutrient issue...

I tried 3 parts water to 1 part vinegar, and it worked great. Took the hard water spots right off if I let it sit on them for about 30 seconds. Cleaned the rest of the glass beautifully.

What's the best thing to clean the outside glass with that won't harm the tank? I've heard Windex and others will pollute the tank with Ammonia, and that makes sense. What's best to use? Would Vinegar/Water (for hard water stains) hurt anything? Any suggestions?
