Hey all! My favorite angelfish is acting funny after spawning. Her and her parter have spawned several times no issues.... until now... its like her egg tube is still open after 5 days of laying eggs. Also, 3 days before birth she started gasping (male was fine not gasping) . I assumed she was...

    Cleanup crew

I would get two snails (make sure before buying them to check and see how they reproduce) snail infestations are awful. And with shrimp It depends on what you are buying. If they're large Id do 3 or 4, small I would do 8. Some shrimps can be aggressive to where you only can keep one. Nice thing...

    Mollies or Neon Tetras?

Molies are cute but produce a lot of waste. Neon tetra are fragile and need to be carefully introduced. Also be aware of neon tetra disease... as this killed all my neon tetras, cardinal tetra and rummy nose tetra. Always QT ur fish. Mollies are hardy but may pick a fight with your gourami.

    Overstocking small fish?

You are fine. Have you seen how these fish school in the wild? They school by the thousands. You just have to have a good canister filter and do weekly gravel syphoning.

    Water changes

Get a canister filter. Sand + canister = no waste ever. Gravel traps a lot of poop. But poop on the sand gets pushed away by the canister filters current
