Update. I have gotten my nitrates under control I am doing 40% water changes weekly and no the nitrates are stable at between 10 and twenty..

I started with a local fish store with sword tails and they bred, so I have home grown fish and guppies and a Bristlenose Pleco that my sister bred.

What type of material is the cubby built of? What as it’s original purpose? Who made it? It looks sturdy, but I think whether it’s safe or not depends on all of this.

He looks like a Corey catfish who should have more Corey’s to school with. I will admit I currently have one. They eat anything that falls to the bottom. I feed him sinking pellets though and he like pleco wafers.

Move the toad and then feed the anole. Are you feeding crickets?
