Just an update. I built it. Seems to work well. The water does create a lot of bubbles (yay!) and doesn’t seem to be too much. Just have to wait for the tank to cycle and add some fish! Prototype #1

I have two gouramis and three ballon mollies. The red dwarf just hides in the bottom of the tank and the blue one is a bully and chases my mollies around the tank all day. They’re both male. Is the opposite personalities normal with these fish? (I didn’t buy them they were a gift from a friend.)

I’ve sat here and watched them rip it apart. They aren’t eating it. They are just ripping and spitting it out then ripping another strand out. They’ve utterly destroyed a two inch spot in less than a day.
