WELL...one of my africans got reallly reallyyy beat up by my yellow lab (arent they supposed to be docile!?) anyhow, I put him in qt and treated him until he was all rebuilt and ready to go and put him right back in the tank...the next day..he beat up the yellow lab and now everything is ok...

I got a similiar product that is put out by sea chem... It says to wait a week for the sensor to get used to your tank water...but mine didn't change for like a month so I just returned it...save the 7-15 bucks I think!

I was one of the hundreds of people to previously answer the question...what i learned was that you can give them a nice scrub with a brush of some sort (pass on any chemicals) I use HOT water...and then pour some vinegar on them...if they bubble or anything it is advised not to use...

ok so now my question is...even though the carbon is old in my cartridge can I just leave it in there for a long time until i decide to change the cartridge? I don't need to use any carbon...or should I just make a slit and take it out?
