Changed bout 80% out, but tested our water we use an it’s literally got higher nitrites an nitrates then what I’m testing so wonder if that could be the issue?

Ok so we are having a big issue with one of our tanks not bein able to stay within parameters an killing our fish off. We have done water changes tried chemicals but keeps creeping really high. Just tested- Nitrate- above 80ppm but below 160ppm Ammonia- 0-0.25ppm Ph- between 7.2 and 7.6...

Yes it’s very confusing, some I read online say it can be the root system of plants producing o2 or something. Some say get trumpet snails to mix up the substrate( which I don’t bother substrate slat all ) and prevent gas bubbles

Yup nothin, isn’t coming from just 1 spot. I took tongs an moved gently the substrate in other areas around plants an bubbles came up too

Iv just noticed last night that every once in awhile I’d see a tiny bubble fly to the top of tank, first I thought was my fish until I watched closer an no it’s coming from substrate. Water parameters are fine plant growth is good I just dunno what would be causing the bubbles all of a sudden...

May have to move my sailfin Molly’s to my snail tank then, more room an I’ll add plants to give the tons a babie apple snails a place to kinda hide

So was cleaning my mystery snail tank an seen these tiny things move on the glass, thought I was seen things until I used my phone an zoomed in an seen this! What is it an should I be worried?

Yeah he’s a freshwater fish, got 2 males and 4 females. And thanks I’ll search more on their water parameters to see which tank I can put them in that best fits their needs

Alright cool, was gonna put them in my tank room with the baby apple snails until I set their tank up wed will they eat the snails?

Yup shock bottles for good min or 2 before dropping and shock test tube for minute after an waited.

Ya that’s why I now have 2 tanks cycling now for grow out tank lol I don’t feel like tearing my tank up getting them all out.

They get blanched cucumber and other foods,I make snail gel an I feed my other fish bloodworms so it’s not a lack of nutrition. Well went bigger on my tank to allow for more room to allow plants an fish to grow. Little cloudy still but same filter, used most the water from other tank(just did water change 2days ago) added more substrate to the back of tank, still need to transfer my lights over from the other tank hood...
