I use two 67k and one 32k on my FW planted tank. The 67k looks greenish/yellowish and the 32k looks pink. The mix of both lights looks good. I use a 10k on my FOWLR, looks white.

If you use a 67k or 10k bulb with one or two actinics will it be about the same as a 14k bulb?

67k would be nice if you use some actinics with it. I personally like the looks of 14k.

Years ago, I saw a similar device that did what you mentioned. It was used in reptile applications. Solaris systems do the same thing also. I like that fact that you can select your own color temp. Too bad they are so expensive.
