Hi guys My shrimp tank is relatively new and I can see some brown algae growing (see attached). Do I need t dose any algae remover or will it disappear after a while without me doing anything? Thanks

yea something went wrong suddenly. I just woke up to see a dull yellow colored water.. no dead shrimps/fish. I also removed that plant and did a 30% water change.. not sure why exactly the water color changed.. I did another reading and amonia and nitrate levels are still at 0 :banghead:

Thanks so much for your reply. I removed those slimy thing with the help of my scraper. It's weird because I normally feed only a very small piece of algae waffle every 3-4 days. I will keep an eye :thanks:

Hi thanks for the reply. It's a small setup so the entire water volume is just 12L. I'm still new to this hobby so i wanted to start slow, learn, then eventually setup a larger tank with proper aqua scaping etc that;s my idea. Thanks for the testing ideas. I will make sure to check amonia...
