Yes he had been eating! He did not eat this morning though cause he was in the rocks, but last night he did eat brine shrimp.

Ok I have had my clowns for about 1 month now, and the one has gotten a lot bigger so I take it is the female... The last few days I have noticed the little one is swimming funny and staying low to the bottom. Nothing looks wrong with him at, just he is realy small now compared to the other one...

Can anyone tell me about the jaw fish? Are they easy or hard to take care of? I know they need a DSB and I have one, I am hoping to get one because I need something to turn the sand and keep it clean. I also know that they are cool to watch.

Its not red slime algae, its real hairy and the hair strands kind of float up. Any ideas of getting rid of it?

Its brown , not red, and the coral skeleton was white when I bought.

Heres a picture I hope that you can tell from it. I am going to put the PH in tonight after I clean the sides of the aquarium. I will probably point it twards the bottom so that it gets more current.

My nitrates are at 0 though... PH 8.5 (A little Hight I know) Nitrite 0 ammonia 0 nitrate 0

I just got my power head today and need to know how and where to position it, do I want it potinging down, or tward the tock???? I am hoping it will help with the algae (to get rid of it) I know have 9 hermit crabs, but only one snail because the LFS was out. Please help

The star fish wont eat all of my kritters in the sand? Did you buy one from liveaquarium.com? If so how big was it? Im only wanting small

No it has a shell and is an actual crab! I need help with the algae it is getting bad! Anyone know of some kritter to get? I really want to stay away from the chemicals if I can!

Its a little over a month old! How long does it take to go away? I liked the clean white sand bed... So I should not add anything to clean it right now?

I do not have a alk test... Also the water is the same water, I use tap water but I put something that takes out the chlorine. I have not had any problems with the PH before

My LFS told me i needed to add calcium after he did a water test, I am adding Kents Calcium. Do I also need to add something for the Alkinity? Or test? Also will adding calcium make my PH go up, because my PH is at 8.8 everything else Nitrate, Amonia etc... is at 0. BTW I am new to this board...
