    Molly trouble.

Thanks. I hate losing fish. And non-aquarists just don't seem to get it's as painful as losing your dog or cat... oh well.

    Molly trouble.

Thanks again for the advice. And p3purr, you were correct about the swim bladder. A local aquarist shop was able to diagnose the issue. Sadly though there wasn't anything that could really have been done and the molly passed a day later. Thanks for all the help though.

    Molly trouble.

I can't be sure of the age, but it is just over an inch in length and has been in my tank for about 3 months. I do have an airstone and the molly is male. Also, there doesn't seem to be any bloating. So I will try the mashed up pea and see if it helps. Thanks for the help.

    Molly trouble.

I saw there was a post just below here with a similar problem. However, I figured it was best to start a new thread since my fish is a different species in a fully cycled/tested tank. Ok. I have a creamsicle molly, 2 black skirt tetra and 2 oto's in a fully cycled 10gallon tank...

    Current 10 Gallon Setup (Video+Pics)

Beautiful gravel choice. The black in it really sets off the other colors nicely. And that plant in foreground to the right, I think I have the exact type in my tank.lol

    Remodeled Tank

I finally got the money to remodel my tank the way I wanted it. I replaced the course colored gravel with live sand and got two new structures. Hopefully removing the gravel won't upset the nitrogen cycle too badly. Sorry about all the bubbles on the glass, just did a water change.

    Nitrates

These same type of results really freaked me out as well when I was starting my community tank. The pet shop gave me really really bad advice (that it was okay to add fish after 3 days). I lost a bunch of fish until I started hitting the books and finding out what was what. Right around the...

    Albino Cory Catfish.

Great pics. And yeah, those Cory's hitting the surface made me concerned at first. I thought they were going up for air, so i instantly tested my water.lol. Guess they are just a frisky breed! And thanks, I can't wait for the 100 gallon.

    Albino Cory Catfish.

Greetings, This is my first post, but I've been reading through alot of threads and found much useful info. I'm really glad I came across this place. No more uninformed pet store workers for me! lol Anyway, I have never been much into catfish, but the other day I was at the local shop and...
