Woke up this morning and my skimmer is like overflowing with water/bubbles. Last night it was just microbubbles now my skimmer is overflowing. Is the water lvl in the skimmer too high? its in 12inches of water.

Went to the LFS and some LR websites and they say to use Tap water with dechlorinator when first putting my LR with Base rock for the initial cycle. They say it is because tap water contains some of the stuff that would benefit the rocks and help with the cycle. Should I go that route or...

Well after reading some posts on flow in the tank. I have concluded that it is good to have a lot of flow. But my question is what about in a sump? Will too much flow going through my sump result in a decline in performance for my skimmer? MSX 160. skimmer. Thanks in advanced.
