    Most Fun Tank Ever!

So I have lost half my neons and glowlite tetras(probably due to old age) and my 29 gallon is stained from my drift wood, so I decided to put the fish from the 29 into my 55. I was a little worried but so far it is amazing. I don't think you could ask for more excitement than this tank now. Here...

    Which Fish?

I love tetras and from my experience black neons are the most hardy. Also it is rare I have a neon or a glolight tetra die. All 3 of those fish will shoal together. With them in a larger tank they split up a little more but the neons and glolight tetras still hang together on the bottom. Also...

    Ideas For Stocking Needed

Normally a group of them will keep nipping down. 5 should do it or maybe 6. I have 6 tiger barbs, 6 columbian tetras and 5 serpae tetras in a 29 and none of them nip or even chase.

    Stocking a 12-gallon?

Barbs are nice and start small but they will outgrow that 12 gallon tank. They would need to be moved into a bigger tank in the future.

29 now up with a couple questions

Hey guys I just wanted to let you know that I have pics for my 55 and my new 29 up now. In my 29 I have 1 albino rainbow shark, 6 colombian tetras, and 6 tiger barbs(2 normal, 2 green, 2 albino). I'm thinking the tank is about maxed out but was really hoping to get a little more. I wanted to...

what to put in a 55 gallon

What are you going for? What have you done before? Do you want a few big fish or a tetra community? I have a 55 that I recently set up. You can check it out here. I have the fish listed. http://www.aquariumadvice.com/forums/f70/new-55-almost-complete-122302.html

    Stocking a 12-gallon?

Well Zebra Danios stay fairly small and they are always chasing. You could try like 6 of them in there. Serpae Tetras stay fairly small also. If you want more than one kind you could try like 4 of each. That will get you some competition for sure.

Just got my 29 up and going. I has been cycled for quite a while but finally decided what I wanted in it. Here are a few pics of it. I have 1 albino rainbow shark, 6 columbian tetra, and 6 tiger barbs(2 green, 2 albino and 2 regular). Not sure if I will add any more fish. I think I am pretty...

    what bottom feeders

All good ideas. I did consider doing barbs because I have a 55 loaded with tetras. I could try some serpae and some tiger barbs. Don't think my pet store has colombian tetras. Should I go with a shark also then?

Made The Move! Already in the new 55

Will be sure to do that. Thanks. I am worried about 1 thing though. Since I started giving them frozen food in the evening, they don't touch anything else. Flakes, sinking pellets and waffers, nothing. Im debating just getting rid of those. My angel is the only fish that eats them. It eats...

Made The Move! Already in the new 55

Alright so I just made a move and so far I would call it a sucess. A few things didn't go according to plan but it made it even more exciting. If you didn't see my other posts I had a 20 and a 29 to move. Heres what ended up happening. Ok so I started putting water for the fish into a large...

    Any Low Light Plant suggestions?

Java fern and Java moss do well in lower light. In my 10 gallon I threw all my extra java moss all bunchd up in the corner with the light on only a few hours a day and out of direct sunlight. It is still green and bushy. The only problem with java moss is it gets stuck to the filter but fry love...
